A Day of Networking
a tribute to Sweden’s
shipping heritage
This year, The Swedish Club reintroduced A Day of Networking to
conclude the AGM week. With a special tribute to Gothenburg’s heritage
of shipping, the guests joined a guided tour through the historic Klippan
area, once a vital part of the city’s maritime trade.
The day proceeded with a visit to the ship Götheborg, a replica of an
18th-century East Indiaman, where the legacy of Swedish seafaring and
shipbuilding were explored. The networking ended with lunch at the iconic
and newly renovated Feskekörka, Gothenburg’s beloved 昀椀sh market.
