WE CARE FOR SUSTAINABILITY
As a marine insurance provider, we acknowledge the global environmental
challenges facing the maritime sector. We believe that enabling responsible
shipping also means contributing to a more sustainable world. Environmental
considerations are therefore an integral part of how we conduct our operations
and engage with members and partners.
We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and promoting
responsible use of resources. While our direct environmental impact is
limited, we actively seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our daily
operations — for example through energy-efficient practices, digital-first
approaches, sustainable travel policies and careful procurement.
We also recognize our broader role within the shipping ecosystem. By engaging
with shipowners, brokers, partners and other stakeholders, we contribute to
the sector’s transition towards lower emissions and greater resilience. We
raise awareness of environmental regulations and promote compliance as
part of sound risk management and long-term value creation.
As a manager, you are expected to lead by example and ensure that
sustainability is part of everyday decisions within your team.
