WE ARE A HEALTHY
AND SAFE WORKPLACE
WE RESPECT UNION RIGHTS
WE UPHOLD FAIR
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Discrimination is a violation of human
dignity. At the Club, we do not tolerate
any form of discrimination – whether
based on a person’s identity, beliefs,
or background.
A healthy and safe workplace starts
with awareness. When we follow
health and safety requirements, we
can prevent injuries, accidents and
work-related illness.
All employees have the right to join,
or not to join, a trade union or other
employee organisation. These rights
must be respected – by everyone, at
all times.
All employees are entitled to fair and
reasonable terms of employment,
in line with applicable labour laws,
agreements and local practices.
As a manager, you must ensure
that your team is aware of relevant
regulations, that safety equipment is
in place when needed and that the
team is properly trained.
You must also ensure that union
representatives are free to carry out
their duties without interference.
Examples of discrimination include:
Gender, sexual orientation,
transgender identity or expression
Ethnicity, nationality, cultural
background or skin colour
Religion or other beliefs
Disability, genetics or pregnancy
Age
Union affiliation
As a manager, you must ensure that
all decisions related to upcoming or
current employment relationships –
such as hiring, promotion or salary –
are based solely on the individual’s skills
and performance.
HAVE IN MIND:
Never discriminate
Be inclusive
Speak up if you witness
unfair treatment
HAVE IN MIND:
Always comply with
safety requirements
Be responsible –
never take shortcuts
Correct and report hazards
and unsafe behaviour
As a manager, you are expected to
support and respect these rights and
allow time and space for union-related
responsibilities when needed.
HAVE IN MIND:
Respect employees’ rights regardless
of their union membership
Never influence or pressure
anyone’s decision
Working hours must be reasonable,
and rest periods respected.
We do not accept child labour, forced
labour, or any form of modern slavery.
As a manager, you must ensure that your
team has a healthy work-life balance by
supporting reasonable working hours,
time for recovery, and clarity around
employment conditions.
HAVE IN MIND:
Raise concerns if terms of
employment seem unfair or unclear
Respect others’ right to rest,
recovery and work-life balance
