The Club communicates to
support our vision and goals. Our
communication must always be fair,
accurate and fact-based – whether
it concerns developments, services
or financial results.
Only those who are formally
authorised by the Club may
speak, write or make statements
on behalf of the Club – including
service providers. This applies
to all types of communication.
We report transactions and performance
in a transparent, timely and accurate
manner, following accounting standards
and regulatory requirements.
As a manager, you must ensure your
team understands and follows the
Club’s communication standards.
We must assess the impact and risks
of our communication. When handling
company-related matters, we are all
responsible for following the rules.
HAVE IN MIND:
Any comment to the media may
be perceived as made on behalf
of the Club. Always refer inquiries
to MarCom
MarCom is responsible for ALL
media contact
If you are concerned about a
statement made in an informal
setting where a journalist
was present, inform MarCom
immediately
RESPONSIBLE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media should be used professionally and respectfully. Never share
information not intended for the public, or post anything that may damage
the Club’s brand or reputation.
Unless authorised by MarCom to post on behalf of the Club, you must
include the statement: ‘All opinions expressed are solely my own and do
not express the views or opinions of my employer’ whenever posting about
the Club. This does not apply when simply sharing official content.
Remember that everything we do post can be traced and remains visible
online indefinitely.
Each of us is personally responsible for what we publish. Use your good judgement.
As a manager, you are expected to lead by example in your own use of
social media. You should support your team in engaging online in a way
that strengthens trust in the Club.
HAVE IN MIND:
Be respectful and mindful of tone
Don’t share internal or confidential matters
Aim to act as a positive ambassador for the Club
