WE DON’T OFFER OR ACCEPT IMPROPER
GIFTS OR INVITATIONS
Moderate, reasonable gifts and
invitations are generally acceptable if
they are infrequent, clearly legitimate
and serve a business purpose.
Access to vehicles or facilities for
private use
This may include showcasing the Club’s
services, strengthening relationships, or
enhancing our reputation.
Invitations or hospitality that
are excessive, frequent and/or
inappropriate
Reasonable business meals or
hospitality may be acceptable but
always assess the context and timing.
However, even low-value gifts or
invitations may be inappropriate if
offered frequently or during ongoing
or upcoming negotiations.
Never offer or accept anything that
could reasonably be perceived as an
attempt to influence a decision or gain
an improper advantage.
Examples of gifts and invitations
that are always prohibited:

As a manager, you must ensure
that your team is well informed and
understands the risks related to gifts
and invitations.
HAVE IN MIND:
Think twice before offering
or accepting any gift, meal
or invitation
Check whether formal approval
from your manager is needed
If in doubt, always consult the

Politely refuse and report
anything that seems improper
